Procedure of getting Rajasthan Pollution Control Board NOC

• Application and Document Submission

The applicant is required to complete an online application for Consent on the MIS page of the Board and pay the necessary fee. Subsequently, the applicant must upload the appropriately certified documents in accordance with the checklist provided by the RSPCB.

• Reviewing the Application

Upon submission, the application and accompanying documents will be examined by both the CTE and CTO, depending on the stage of the application process.

• Inspection

If the Board finds the application satisfactory, a site inspection will be arranged. An inspecting officer will visit the site and compile an inspection report. A field inspection occurs when the manufacturer is applying for a Certificate to Operate.

• Grant of Certificate

A decision regarding the approval or denial of the application will be made within the specified timeframe, contingent upon the submission of a complete application and a satisfactory inspection report. The Certificate to Operate (CTO) will be issued online, and the applicant will be notified to download the CTO from the website.

• Post-Consent Monitoring and Compliance

After receiving the CTO, the industry is subject to periodic monitoring by the RPCB to ensure continuous compliance with environmental standards.

Regular submissions of reports on air and water quality, waste disposal, and other pollution control measures may be required as per the conditions mentioned in the consent.

• Validity of Consents:

CTE is up to 5 years, so industries have to start their project in this timeline or apply for an extension.

CTO validity varies by industry category: Red-1-5 years, Orange–5-10 years and Green industries 10 years.

Renewal to sustain compliance and authorization must be made much earlier than the existing license expires.
